Crashing computer

The problem started for what seemed no reason at all. I would:

  • Start up the computer like normal
  • Wait for Microsoft Windows XP Home to load
  • Start working
  • 10 minutes latter every thing would freese

It seemed to be very random, but I found a temporary way arround it. To get around the problem I would:

  • Start the computer like normal
  • Wait for Microsoft Windows XP Home to load
  • Wait 10 minutes
  • Start working
This got very annoying after a while. While attempting to fix the problem I:
  • Installed New NVida Driver from msupdate
  • Disabled all network cards and connections

This still did not seem to fix it, so I reinstalled Microsoft Windows XP Home. It was still not fixed.

My last attempt was to move to linux and see if it still happened. All though it still happened under linux, it does not seem to happen as often. I figure that this is a faulty graphics card problem as it still occurs on different operating system.
